In year 2011 we were bunch of few Sindhis, who felt there is need to know about more Sindhis in surrounding and be with each other in good and bad times. That was the notion or objective of starting this club.
This small diary was originally used to collect the information of each Sindhi Family around by Mr. Daryani and others. Now we use online and printed forms to gather this information.
Originally Thane Sindhi Club started with mere 5 Sindhi families from Pokhran Road. Today we represent more than 100 families from Majiwada, Hiranandani Meadows, Vasant Vihar,Pawar Nagar, Hiranandani Estate, Godhbunder Road, Kolshet, LBS & also few from Kopri.
We have celebrated Three Cheti Chand functions which were very successful and worth witnessing & participating at Cosmos Paradise & Hiranandani Meadows. We all attended Sindhi Drama in Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Drama Theatre. Once we also organised Mata ji Jyot with Kishin and Raj Juriani Music Party.
We continue to organise many more such programs to know Sindhis around and let our next Sindhi generation know about our culture & traditions.
